Supporting SEND in mainstream 13.11.20
Pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) have the greatest need for excellent teaching and are entitled to provision that supports achievement at, and enjoyment of, school.
The attainment gap between pupils with SEND and their peers is twice as big as the gap between pupils eligible for free school meals and their peers.
Yet in such challenging times, how do you ensure you are providing the most effective curriculum that meets each individual’s needs?
Designed around the EEF’s SEN In Mainstream Schools’ guidance, this training will support primary and secondary mainstream colleagues by discussing evidence based recommendations which are easily implemented into both classroom strategies and whole school ethos.
