Maximising the impact of TAs 22.01.20
Maximising the impact of teaching assistants has been a focus since the DISS report in 2009 which found a negative relationship between the amount of TA support and progress made by children.
This session will highlight the strategies that are now recognised as good practice in particular the roles and deployment of TA in a mainstream classroom.
Intended audience: teachers and leaders responsible for deployment of TA including recently qualified teachers, middle leaders and SENDCo.
