Unconscious Bias

Unconscious Bias

Run by Hannah Jepson - Director of Engaging for Success

Unconscious (or implicit) biases are learned stereotypes that are automatic, unintentional, deeply engrained, universal, and able to influence behaviour. Unconscious bias training courses are designed to expose people to their unconscious biases, provide tools to adjust automatic patterns of thinking, and ultimately eliminate discriminatory behaviours.

This one day course will explore what unconscious bias is, how it can affect our decision-making and what practical steps we can take to mitigate for bias in our schools; a key way of ensuring equality is at the centre of all you do as a school leader.

The cost is £100.00 per person or for two colleagues from the same school.
